During Louisiana's Second Amendment Weekend Sales Tax Holiday, state and local sales tax come off firearms, ammunition and hunting supplies. No coupon and no minimum purchase — the exemption is applied automatically at checkout and at the register.

Firearm purchases and transfers still require a completed ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check. SACS is also an LDWF license agent — pick up your hunting and fishing licenses while you're here.

Exemption provided under La. R.S. 47:305.62. Items must be manufactured and marketed primarily for hunting use to qualify.
